Passkey
A passkey is a modern sign-in method that makes passwords unnecessary. Instead of typing a password, you confirm the login with what your device can already do — fingerprint, face, or device PIN. Technically it relies on a key pair: a private key stays securely on your device, and only the public one is held by the service. Benefits: there's no password to steal or phish, and signing in is more convenient. Passkeys are seen as the future of login; many password managers already manage them.
