Subdomain
A subdomain is a subdivision of your main domain A domain is your website's internet address, e.g. "cryvor.com." It's registered and, via DNS, points to the server where the site lives. It lets you clearly separate individual sections or applications without buying a completely new domain. Subdomains can be set up freely and point to their own content, servers, or tools. They're often used for blogs, shops, support areas, or test environments. They're configured through your host's DNS DNS (Domain Name System) is the "phone book of the internet": it translates domain names like cryvor.com into the IP addresses where the servers live.
